Water Garden

Walking down the sidewalk, one can hear the relaxing sound of falling water. This refreshing gem in the middle of Fort Worth is an oasis in the sprawling city, offering beautiful water displays to every passerby. Built in 1974 by architect Philip Johnson, the park contains three distinctly different water structures as well as a magnificent terraced knoll that provides a barrier to the busy roads of Fort Worth. The park's ecosystem is home to over 500 varieties of plants and trees placed throughout, offering shade from the hot Texas sun. Due to the parks awe-inspiring architecture two movies have shot several scenes within the park. This must-see location should be a destination for all national leadership qualifiers.
